Sprint first unveiled its branded credit card a few years ago in partnership with Home Credit, a financial institution based in Amsterdam. As is the case with most store-branded credit cards, Sprint’s credit card failed to gain much traction, but according to Wave7 and Fierce Wireless, that’s not stopping Sprint from branching out further.

Currently, the Sprint Credit Card is offered in over 500 Sprint stores in the US.

If the rumors are true, America’s fourth largest carrier is preparing to expand its branded credit card nationwide this week. Currently, the Sprint Credit Card is offered in over 500 Sprint stores in the US, giving customers loyalty points which can then be spent on Sprint phones, accessories, and cellular services. For those of you who are interested, these are some of the benefits:

  • AutoPay payment method
  • 0% Introductory APR on Sprint purchases for 12 months
  • No annual fee
  • 2 points per dollar spent for Sprint purchases
  • 1 point per dollar spent for other purchases
  • 100 points = 1 dollar
  • $30 applied for customers who spend $500 within first 60 days
